Discussion Topics

After viewing the video visit some of the OER repositories linked above and search for open courses, text, or other resources that you might be able to use in your classes. What did you find? Share your experience with this exercise.

 

 

Meeting Agenda

This week we will not be holding our traditional class meeting. Again we will be holding one-on-one appointments for students to get individualized feedback and review. I have provided a Google Spreadsheet for you to sign up for your appointment. If you do not need an appointment please access the spreadsheet and sign up in the column that indicates you will not need an appointment. Finally, please indicate whether you will be meeting with me online or in person.

Assignment:

Final Project: Online Presentation – Use your Ustream account and Ustream Producer to broadcast and record a maximum 5 minute presentation on the history of any educational technology. The technology on which you choose to present is your choice. You will make your presentation live online as if you were teaching a virtual class using live video shots, presentation slides, and video (optional). (Due Week 9)
